Specialized Investigations Group, LLC offers a range of background investigations. In today’s day and age, one must protect themselves. We have assisted law firms, employers, private citizens, adoptive parents, sports teams, and others with researching the background of individuals to assist our clients in optimizing decision making and aiding our clients in mitigating risks.
 
A thorough background investigation should be conducted prior to hiring a new employee, accessing a possible witness, allowing someone in your home, or to ensure your business’ internal integrity with current employees. Specialized Investigations Group, LLC strongly suggests using a comprehensive approach to locating information. A few dollars spent now checking someone’s past may save your business or family thousands of dollars or heartache. Specialized Investigations Group, LLC offers two levels of backgrounds. These can be customized for your needs, depending on the specific information you are seeking.
 
Many clients call asking for a background investigation. It is a difficult question to answer at times depending on your needs. In one case it may be important to locate all of a person’s marriages, the next case may require locating all of a person’s owned properties, or locating all of a person’s contacts with law enforcement. Once we are able to assess your needs we can determine a method and approach.
 
A client wanted only a basic check on a subject but upon speaking with the client, we believed it would be helpful to also research the subject’s associates. The subject appeared to have a “clean” background but lived with individuals known for drug use and distribution.
 
This type of information can assist our clients in making informed decisions that may affect their business or personal lives. All background investigations can be designed for your specific needs.
 
Comprehensive Level
 
The comprehensive background investigation will utilize the individuals name to locate information via public records databases. This level will attempt to verify the subject’s name and date of birth, associated addresses, corporate affiliations, bankruptcies, liens and judgments, associated corporate filings and licenses, and names and addresses of relatives. This level will also provide a complete Florida driver’s history and all vehicles registered in Florida to the subject.
 
Advanced Level
 
The advanced level background investigation will focus on specific information in which the client needs concerning the subject. This investigation may include:
 
  • A search of owned property as to specific owners.
  • A search of offender databases.
  • A search of court databases seeking any family court, criminal court and civil actions involving the subject.
  • A search of Federal Court System database systems for criminal and civil cases involving the subject.
  • Locating and obtaining copies of local law enforcement reports listing the individual’s name and review these reports for details and circumstances.
  • Interviewing the individual’s associates, family members, past employers, co-workers roommates and/or neighbors to ascertain the individual’s knowledge of the subject’s past history, habits and work history.
