Trial preparation and analyzing police reports:
We excel at focusing on the facts and determining if sufficient evidence exists and looking for any missing information. Our experience gained conducting major case investigations, at trials, depositions, and grand jury presentations assist us greatly in reviewing these matters.

Our experience in investigating violent crimes has given us the edge in evaluating evidence and reports. Our knowledge of court procedures and past experience with State Attorneys and U. S. Attorney’s Offices gives us the knowledge to analyze any case. Also see Legal Services.

Locating individuals and witnesses:
We use a combination of computer databases, surveillance, confidential sources, contacts, and good old fashion shoe leather to assist you with locating individuals.

Interviews / Obtaining witness statements:
We excel at interview techniques and obtaining necessary information. Specialized Investigations Group, LLC investigators have years of experience and are trained in various interview techniques. Our investigators are licensed as Notary Public to assist in taking sworn statements.

Verifying Information / Background Investigations:
We can conduct interviews or search computer databases to assist you in determining the facts. Our experience in law enforcement operations can assist in determining proper documentation. Once we have learned information from an interview or from a report this information will be verified if possible to determine its veracity and value.

Insurance Investigations / Worker’s Compensation Fraud:
We can help to determine if the claimant's current activities challenge the extent and nature of the stated injury. We investigate these claims to determine if in fact an employee has misreported or exaggerated their injuries, has unreported income from other employment, and / or their daily activities.

Obtaining Crime Scene evidence and properly documenting the scene:
Specialized Investigations Group, LLC can document the scene to assist you in your preparations. We can assist in forensic examinations, analysis of the scene, and obtaining evidence.

Stalking / Harassment Investigations:
Most stalking suspects can be broken down into three categories:

"Delusional stalkers" who may have never had contact with their victim, these offenders typically have mental illness issues and are fixated on the victim.

"Vengeful stalkers" who act out against their victim for real or perceived events. Business owners, supervisors, coworkers, or politicians are the usual victims of these offenders.

"Intimate stalkers" act out against victims after the termination of a relationship and refuse to believe the relationship is over. These offenders look for any way to stay in contact with or insert themselves into the victim's life. This keeps the stalking offender "attached" in their minds and keeps the victim from moving on. Many times the victim is afraid to terminate all contact with the offender for fear the offender's actions will increase in frequency and / or violence.

We have the experience and training to deal with these offenders. We can assist in obtaining the evidence needed to seek an arrest or court injunction. We can assist in contacting the suspect and "formally" informing them of their unwanted contacts and any further contacts may result in the victim pursuing criminal charges.

Child Abuse and Neglect / Sexual Offender and Predator
With our background in investigating all forms of Sex Crimes, Sex Offenders, Child Abuse, Child Neglect offenses we can assist anyone with these types of situations. We seek to determine a person’s habits and any actions which constitute their maltreatment of the child or another person based on violence or sexual offenses.

Missing Persons
We can assist in recovering, investigating, and locating missing persons of all types and all reasons. Specialized Investigations Group, LLC reserves the right to decline an assignment it deems contrary to established legal guidelines or ethical interests.

Corporate / Business Investigations
We will tailor make a plan to fit your needs for investigating matters of theft, workplace violence, pre-employment screening, termination assistance, loss of information, or any issue. Clients are provided with essential information to enhance decision-making, data analysis, and to mitigate risk.

Surveillance
Specialized Investigations Group, LLC uses a combination of still photography, video, and other computer based technology to properly observe our target. Surveillance may be necessary in Insurance and Worker's Compensation investigations, Theft investigations, Employee investigations / Business Investigations, Child Custody issues, Fraud investigations, Stalking investigations, Verifying an individual’s location, Corporate investigations, Civil investigations, or Infidelity investigations.

Once we properly debrief our client, we can determine what additional steps might be necessary to properly complete the investigation.

Background Screening for future employees, vendors, home care workers
Specialized Investigations Group, LLC will tailor make a plan to fit your needs for determining the honesty, past history, habits, and character of a future employee, vendor, home care worker, etc. Specialized Investigations Group, LLC will search out public records. Past police contacts that are often overlooked will be sought.
